Trade Office launches Resource Mgnt. Group
The North Dakota Trade Office has launched a new program designed to assist state exporters who face production challenges that limit sales and growth in high-demand foreign markets.
 
The Trade Office has hired Mike Seifert, a business development specialist, to lead a team of professionals who will work with North Dakota manufacturers and producers of value-added foods to overcome production capacity issues that limit exports.
Finding capital for business and export growth
Bill OwensNorth Dakota's businesses are national leaders in export expansion, but should consider using private equity funds to realize their full growth potential, said Bill Owens, a native North Dakotan and chairman and CEO of AEA Holdings Asia, a private equity and real estate investment firm.

ND businesses prepare for Turkey

North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Roger Johnson and Trade Office staff will lead an eight-day trade mission to Turkey beginning November 14.
 
The delegation includes higher education officials, representatives from value-added food companies and other businesses with diverse interests in Turkey's commercial market.

ND companies attend Kazakhstan exhibition
Five North Dakota agriculture equipment companies will participate in a three-day trade show in Astana, Kazakhstan beginning Oct. 30. Trade Office team members Joe Delvo and Beibit Yerubayev will represent other companies unable to attend the show and will facilitate meetings between North Dakota equipment manufacturers and dealers and prospective customers.
