The Lake Travis Education Foundation is proud to announce our 2008 Scholarship Recipients.

    From a field of 82 applicants, a committee reviewed applications and spent five days interviewing a determined and focused group of Lake Travis High School Seniors.  These students excel in academics and exhibit a strong dedication to community and family. 

    Following the interview process, scores were tallied and 40 students were determined the awardees. They will each receive a portion of $36,800 in scholarship funds to apply toward their Fall 2008 tuition.

    On May 27, 2008, the scholarship recipients will be honored at a reception to be held at Lake Travis High School. Students, parents, LTEF directors, LTISD administrators, and named scholarship fund family members and representatives will be in attendance. The reception provides an opportunity for the students to meet the people responsible for setting up the named scholarship funds and learn a little more about the person or organization that the fund represents. 

    The students will be presented with their scholarship certificates during the annual LTHS Awards Ceremony on May 28th.
