Qnotes from Funders for LGBTQ Issues

Celebrating 30 years of mobilizing philanthropic resources for the LGBTQ community.

1982-2012

GBTQ Men and Boys of Color Initiative

This year, as part of our ongoing commitment to advancing work at the intersection of racial equity and LGBTQ rights, Funders for LGBTQ Issues has launched the GBTQ Men and Boys of Color Initiative. This initiative has the dual goals of providing funder education about GBTQ men and boys of color constituencies, and advocating for their support within the sector. Made possible by a generous grant from The California Endowment, Funders for LGBTQ Issues will work with philanthropic and community leaders to organize funder convenings, publish resources, and highlight the stories of individuals.
