On May 31st, Accelerate Okanagan will host a workshop presented by Kevin Lawrence: Mastering the One-Page Strategic Plan.Based around the best-selling book "Mastering the Rockefeller Habits" by Verne Harnish, this workshop will focus on business growth principles and strategic planning for the year ahead.

This workshop regularly sells for $595 per person. Accelerate Okanagan price: $199 for the first delegate, $99 for additional delegate/s.

New Aboriginal Training Program

The Penticton Indian Band has recently been awarded funding for a new employment initiative for services under the Aboriginal Training for Employment Program. They are holding consultation meetings with interested employers, employment and business agencies in order to increase the connection between employers and Aboriginal job seekers andbuild an employer network of businesses interested in hiring members and/or providing input to the Aboriginal Training for Employment project.
