Annual General Meeting & Election of Directors
The 2011 Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting will be held Thursday, March 15th at the Ramada Inn & Suites ballroom from 5:00p to 7:00p.
Voting will take place by confidential ballot at the AGM.
The agenda will include long-standing member recognitions, Membership and President's Reports, and the Accountant's Report.
Reception with light appetizers and a cash bar to follow.
RSVP is required by calling (250) 492-4103 or emailing admin@penticton.org by Monday March 12th.
Members are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to mingle with your Board of Directors.

Join our host, Bonitas Winery, in conjunction with the Summerland Chamber, for an evening of great networking, refreshments, and door prizes.
Doug Dean from Grape Escapes Wine Tours has graciously offered the use of his shuttle bus to and from Bonitas Winery for a nominal fee of $5 per person.

Valley Wide Business After Hours
Join us at the Summerland Waterfront Resort for the popular annual Valley Wide Business After Hours hosted this year by the Summerland Chamber.
The Summer Lovin' themed evening will include vendors from the South Okanagan, Penticton, Summerland, Peachland, West Kelowna, Kelowna, Lake Country and Vernon Chambers.

Serving Customers Better
"Customers - The Centre of Your Business"
Serving Customers Better is a three and a half hour workshop that targets business owners and employees to expand on their definition of service and creates a refreshing approach to the important customer service issue that affects your bottom line. For anyone who is dedicated to being successful in business and wants to increase profits, grow their business and produce satisfied customers.
Great customer service requires that all members of a business/organization are focused and dedicated to this end. This workshop is an opportunity for business owners, managers, service providers, professionals, and employees to gain an understanding about serving customers better.
The contents include: defining who customers/clients are; providing information on "The Paper Factory"; discussing do's and don'ts of advertising; and providing steps for Great Customer Service.
This is an interactive, fun, seminar-style presentation and opportunities for everyone to participate are provided throughout.
