Mark your calendars for Tuesday October 11, for our Fall Chamber Luncheon. Our special guest will be Dan Albas, Member of Parliament for the Okanagan - Coquihalla region. Please call the Chamber office to register.

Thursday December 15, is the Chamber's Christmas Open House and Member Showcase. This event will showcase member businesses that have been unable to host a Business after Business, or who have a home based business and would like an avenue to showcase their products in a trade show format. This event will take place in the Wine Country Visitor Centre and will give everyone an opportunity to network, browse the tradeshow, and pick up those last minute Christmas gifts. Admission will be a $2 donation to the Salvation Army Christmas hamper. Table space for Chamber Members is $75 + HST. Contact Andrea for more details.

The early stages of planning for the Business Excellence Awards are underway. This event will be held on Saturday January 28, 2012 at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre. The Excellence Awards Committee is working hard to bring together a fabulous gala evening consisting of a sit down dinner, an awards ceremony, silent auction and entertainment. Watch for more information later in the fall. We invite you to join us in celebrating Business Excellence in our community. If you are interested in sponsorship for this event, or submitting a silent auction item, please call Andrea at the Chamber office for more information.
