Of special note: If you are not a member of the Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce, there will be a $20 charge to attend a Business After Business.
Networking Tip Get out among them. Do you tend to hole up in your office or other workplace? Just getting out of the house or office to be among people helps. Although walking isn't direct networking, it propels you out of your own little world and brings about a powerful mindset change that can lead you into networking. |

All Candidates Forum
Chamber members and the public are invited to attend the Chamber's All Candidates Forum on Monday, April 18th, 2011.
As a member of the Chamber of Commerce, you have the unique opportunity to have your questions addressed first in the agenda.
If you have a specific question that you would like posed to the Candidates, please email it to our General Manager, Erin Hanson at ehanson@penticton.org. All questions will be considered. The Chamber reserves the right to the selection of the final questions.
Written questions from the floor will also be taken at the forum.
Please take note that the doors open at 6:30 pm and entry to the forum will close at 7:00 pm sharp.

Valley Wide Business After Hours
Tickets are now available for the popular Valley Wide Business After Hours, Thursday, May 12th at Gatzke Farm Market located in Lake Country. A limited number of tickets are available through each Chamber of Commerce in the Valley so book yours now to avoid disappointment. The Valley Wide Business After Hours runs from 5 pm to 7:30 pm and features a trade show with over 50 exhibitors as well as appetizers and beverages from local wineries and breweries. A bus will be available and will travel from Osoyoos to Lake Country to pick up Chamber members along the way; the cost is only $10 per person. So you can just sit back and enjoy the trip!
Tickets are $20 each including the appetizers and two beverages and must be purchased in advance. Please contact the Chamber at (250) 492-4103.
