You might be using social networks to connect with your family and friends, but networks such as LinkedIn can also be powerful tools to seek and connect with like-minded professionals. Learn how to discover connections that can help you in your job hunt or in developing business opportunities, give and get good business information, and position yourself as an expert in your field as a consultant, speaker or future employee. We'll focus on LinkedIn, but touch on several emerging networks such as Quora and Plancast. It's time to take your resume to the next level on social media.

Valley Wide Business After Hours
Tickets are now available for the popular Valley Wide Business After Hours, Thursday, May 12th at Gatzke Farm Market located in Lake Country. A limited number of tickets are available through each Chamber of Commerce in the Valley so book yours now to avoid disappointment. The Valley Wide Business After Hours runs from 5 pm to 7:30 pm and features a trade show with over 50 exhibitors as well as appetizers and beverages from local wineries and breweries. A bus will be available and will travel from Osoyoos to Lake Country to pick up Chamber members along the way; the cost is only $10 per person. So you can just sit back and enjoy the trip!
Tickets are $20 each including the appetizers and two beverages and must be purchased in advance. Please contact the Chamber at (250) 492-4103.
