President's Report
Annual General Meeting
 Join us on Thursday, November 25th, from 5 - 7 pm at Guerard's Fine Furniture, located at 70 Westminster Avenue East, for our Annual General Meeting & Board Election results.
Electronic voting will be available again this year. Early next week you will receive an email with your voting instructions. You may vote online anytime between 7 am Tuesday November 23rd and 4 pm Thursday, November 25th. Please note that there will be no voting at the AGM. Each membership receives one vote.

Penticton & Wine Country Tourism is happy to
announce the renewal of a partnership with
Strategex.
Penticton & Wine Country has decided to renew its
five-year-old relationship with this tourism marketing firm to further assist with the strategic and creative development of the Penticton brand.
After a comprehensive search that short-listed to four BC agencies, Strategex once again rose to the top. Strategex will immediately assist Penticton & Wine Country Tourism staff with consumer research, best practices on tourism organization models and ad campaign execution.

Sport Marketing Coordinator
PENTICTON, BC - Penticton & Wine Country Tourism is pleased to announce the hiring of Jeff Plant for the Sport Marketing Coordinator contract with Penticton & Wine Country Tourism. Plant, a Penticton local, has held previous roles in sport tourism, including his tenure as General Manager at Apex Mountain Resort.
"We couldn't be more enthusiastic about Jeff joining the Penticton & Wine Country team," says Tourism Marketing Manager Jessie Campbell. "Jeff brings a demonstrated zeal for the tourism industry, a great understanding of the sport tourism potential in Penticton and pockets deep with valuable relationships with events rights holders."

After three years in the making, the Penticton Recreation Map is now for sale at the Penticton & Wine Country Visitor Centre. We owe a great deal of thanks to Aaron McRann for his interest and dedication to the project which kept it going to completion. We created some great partnerships with many outdoor adventure businesses or associations who lent us their valuable expertise.
Andrew Drouin from the Penticton & Area Cycling Association worked diligently to make sure the trails were all correctly identified and Drew Makepeace pulled it all together.
The map sells for $9.95 + HST. Come in and get yours before heading into the surrounding hills.
