The IBBA and M&A Source have two outstanding events scheduled that provide education, recertification credits and networking opportunities.
IBBA Educational Fall Summit
September 30th - October 3rd
The first event is the IBBA Educational Fall Summit in Atlanta, September 30th through October 3rd. Courses #210, #220, and #221, course materials, and lunch are included in the registration price.
Course #210
Analyzing and Recasting Financial Statements (16 credit hours)
This two-day course focuses on recasting financial statements to maximize company earnings while minimizing liability. Registrants for this course must have passed Course #130 or the #210 pretest (To take the pre-test online, click here).
Course #220
Introduction to Pricing Small Businesses (8 credit hours)
Learn to apply market data to determine the most probable selling price of a small or midsize business (sales price less than $1 million) and how to report this as a "broker's opinion of value."
Course #221
Pricing Small Business - Level 2 (8 credit hours)
Continues the development of important business pricing skills started in course #220, focusing on those businesses typically sold for under $1 million.
For members, the full summit (all three courses) may be purchased for $750. If you do not need all three courses, specific courses may be attended at a lesser price. For more information on courses and pricing, click here.
This is a great opportunity to earn 32 credit hours from courses that are required to attain your CBI designation. This may be the last chance to take these courses before the next CBI exam, which will take place at the M&A Source Fall Conference November 7th through 9th in Las Vegas.

Next up is The M&A Source Fall Conference at Bally's Las Vegas, November 7- 9. You DO NOT have to be a member of The M&A Source to attend that conference. If you are:
- a CBI,
- working towards obtaining the CBI,
- a M&AMI, or
- working towards obtaining the M&AMI,
then the Vegas Conference is the place to be for 300-level education courses, panel discussions featuring subject matter experts, workshops on relevant topics, the Middle Market Expo, opportunities to network with peers and industry partners, and more!
