Greetings! This Sunday is the story of Pentecost. We are invited to breathe in the Spirit of God, let it dwell in every cell of our existence, and then breathe it out to the world around us bringing forgiveness and wholeness to others. We are still responsible for our actions, but the wholeness and forgiveness we receive allows us to make our lives and this world closer to God's vision for us. Our Web site is now up and running. Check out some of the new features at www.coslc.ws This Sunday is Fathers Day, You can still order a special Fathers Day gift through Old Lutheran, it may arrive a little late but it will be worth it. Looking for something else? Try shooting your father with a paintball extravaganza after church. Check with Nick Kittleson (nicholas@gci.net) for details. We now have a Donate button on our web page as well as Support the Ministry of COSLC link on this email, both take you to the same place. From these links you can now donate to the Ministry of COSLC either one time or on a regular basis using Credit/Debit Cards or your Checking or Savings accounts. You are in total control of the amount and frequency. This is a safe site which operates through Thrivent Financial for Lutherans. Our June food drive will be Home for the summer easy to fix meals for children. Some examples would be peanut butter, jelly, mac & cheese, etc. Don't forget this summers Lutheran Community Camp. It will be held at Birchwood camp just 19 miles from Anchorage on August 5-7th. Information and forms at: www.aklutherancamps.org
