BC Social Innovation Council offers recommendations to government "on how best to maximize social innovation in British Columbia, with an emphasis on social finance and social enterprise."

In a recent New York Times column, David Brooks takes note of the increasing popularity of social entrepreneurship - but frames it as a kind of naïve idealism.

Taking place this year in Rio de Janeiro, SEWF is the premiere global event focused on building the social enterprise movement worldwide. The overall theme for 2012 is the growing field of impact investing.
