IWTG Junior Thanksgiving Satellite RESULTS
Thank you to all the Juniors for participating. Congratulations to Boys 12's Champion Kai Martin, Boys 14's Consolation Finalist Luciano Ferrer, Girls 14's Singles Finalist Alana Dunn, Girls 14's Consolation Winner Courtney Ng and Finalist Caroline Hammer as well as other program participants: Hanull Joh, Hansull Joh, Zoe Percival, Yajaira Castillo, Nicolas Garcia, Tony Overgaag, Chad Martin, and Cameron Desnoes for all their hard work and success in the tournament last weekend. |

Holiday Cookie Bake-Off

SCTA Doubles League Section Championships 
Come out and support local teams competing in the 3.5 & 4.5 SCTA Doubles League Section Championships this weekend, December 2-4 and 3.0 & 4.0 leagues next weekend, December 9-11! Over 250 teams competed on local leagues but only the top 40 teams have the chance to play for the title of "SoCal Section Champions" in the SCTA Doubles Division.

New Tennis Welcome Center Sessions
Learn to play tennis...fast!
USTA Tennis Welcome Center is a low-cost adult instructional program designed to teach in a group environment tennis strokes and strategies to new, existing and returning players. This 8-week program will begin the first week of the New Year and consists of four different divisions:
Level 1 - Beginner (1.0-1.5 NTRP)
Monday 6pm-7:30pm
Level 2 - Beginner Intermediate (2.0-2.5 NTRP)
Wednesday 6pm-7:30pm
Level 3 - Intermediate (3.0-3.5 NTRP)
Monday 6pm-7:30pm
Level 4 - Intermediate Advanced (4.0-4.5 NTRP)
Wednesday 6pm-7:30pm

USTA & Desert Leagues Now Forming
USTA Leagues, the country's largest recreational tennis league, is beginning to form teams in one of four divisions: Adult (18+ years), Senior (50+), Super Senior (60+) and Senior Mixed Doubles (50+).
Play is based on the NTRP rating system so you will play with and against players of the same ability level. USTA Leagues offers you and your teammates a chance to advance from local play to the USTA League National Championships event.
Below is the schedule. Senior, Super Senior and Senior Mixed Doubles divisions will play three (3) doubles matches while the Adult Leagues will play two (2) singles and three (3) doubles matches. USTA membership required to participate in League play in addition to a $21 fee per league.
Monday: Senior 3.5 & 4.5 and Super Senior 6.0 & 8.0
Wednesday: Senior 3.0 & 4.0 and Super Senior 7.0 & 9.0
Thursday: All Senior Mixed Doubles
Friday: Desert League (non USTA for 50 and over)
Saturday: Adult 3.5 & 4.5
Sunday: Adult 3.0 & 4.0

BNP Paribas Open's
Rally, Roundup and Recycle Competition
The BNP Paribas Open along with BNP Paribas and reBounces will hold "Rally, Roundup & Recycle" again this year. It is a tennis ball recycling competition among tennis clubs, schools tennis teams, community tennis programs and other tennis organizations in the Southern California area. Please help the Indian Wells Tennis Garden by donating your used tennis balls beginning today through February 14th to reach the goal of 125,000 used tennis balls. |
