Congratulations to Alan Chevrefils, Larry LeRoy and the Wild Wild Aces of Indio for making it to the semifinals of the World Team Tennis Senior 3.5 Division over the weekend!

A total of 54 recreational tennis teams representing 15 states, competed for national championship titles in 12 divisions during the three-day tournament held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. All matches were played using the World Team Tennis format, a fun, fast-paced co-ed team format that encourages equal contributions from both genders.

USTA National Men's 55 Hard Court Championships
We hope that you are enjoying watching the USTA National Men's 55 Hard Court Championships. This year was a record year with over 100 singles players and 31 doubles teams vying for Gold, Silver and Bronze balls.
Several members and local players are competing including: Larry Kagley, Michael Averbach, Randy Berg, Wesley Jackson, James Upton, Mark Heffernan, Arthur Santilli, Mark Peterson, Pete Kelly, Sheldon Coleman, Bill Matthews, Harry Fritz, and Rob Wheatley. As well as our own Head Tennis Pro, Randy Houston. So come out and cheer for our members and local players!

Upcoming Events
TURKEY SHOOTOUT & FEAST
Sunday, November 20th
2:30pm - 4:30pm Mixed Doubles
4:30pm - 5:30pm Feast
$25 per person
Kick off your Thanksgiving week with a little mixed doubles followed by a feast to benefit a variety of food charities throughout the Valley. Last year, over 100 turkey dinners were donated so together we can surpass that number this year. This event is open to the public so find your mixed doubles partner and enter as a team by November 16, 2011 by calling the Pro Shop.
Please bring any additional non-perishable food donations to the Pro Shop during the week of November 14-20.
