New Staff Member
Please join us in welcoming Gayle Peters!
Gayle lives in La Quinta, is an avid tennis player and has been coming to the tournament with her husband for years, whether it be to watch matches or to work in the Fila tent. "I have lived in the desert for years and have always thought it would be fun to work here and now I get to. I am looking forward to being part of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden staff," said Gayle.
Judi Pech's last day was this month and we wish her all the best!

USTA Leagues
Now is the time to order team uniforms. The pro shop will offer a 25% discount on items purchased for team play. Please register your selection for team play along with the team's captain's name with the pro shop. Team players that come in to buy from that collection just need to let the person at the register know which team and which items they are buying for USTA team play. We want our USTA teams to be the best dressed teams out on the courts!

The BNP Paribas Open recently announced its Economic Impact Study from the 2011 tournament which generated an estimated total gross economic impact on the Coachella Valley regional economy of $289,287,532. This represents an increase of $69,487,629 since 2006 when the last BNP Paribas Open economic impact study was conducted and an increase of more than $188 million since the first report was completed in 2001.
A total of 350,086 people attended the tournament over the two-week period earlier this year. An impressive 84% of these spectators traveled outside the region.

Club Business
MEMBER ACCOUNT CHARGES: Please note when charging anything to your member account, you will ALWAYS need to SIGN the receipt. This also applies to stringing, lessons and clinics so please be sure to allow time when picking up racquets and/or following lessons or clinics to come into the pro shop so charges can be rung up correctly and get the necessary signature. Parents, please advise your junior members that they too sign for snacks and drinks.
CREDIT CARD AUTO DEBIT: All members who wish to have their monthly statement balance charged directly to a credit card on file must fill out a form to authorize this charge. Any member previously on auto bill to credit card who has NOT signed this form by November 20th will no longer be billed automatically and will receive a statement in the mail. Forms are available in the pro shop. |
