Want to store more energy in batteries?
|

Mark September 23 on your calendar for a special FMC Lithium Webinar, presented by C&EN magazine.
Everyone
in the energy storage industry is on a quest--how to store more energy,
longer, with fewer charges? If that's tops on your to do list, you'll
want to mark September 23 on your calendar for the FMC Lithium Webinar
in the American Chemical Society / Chemical & Engineering News
series focusing on surpassing the current limits of energy storage. FMC Lithium and C&EN Webinar Presents SLMP, A New Way to Think of Lithium, only from FMC Lithium |
Imagine . . . you're on the French Riviera with carry-all bags and name tag lanyards.

Yakoleva's update on Lectro Max Powder, an innovative and new
Stabilized Lithium Metal Powder (SLMP®), opens a world of opportunities
for energy storage--only from FMC Lithium.
September 30 at 11:35 a.m., at BATTERIES 2010, Ms. Yakoleva, Technical Program Manager at FMC Lithium, will discuss how SLMP® enables more choices of active anode and cathode materials for high energy, lower cost, and improved safety by providing an independent source of lithium into Li-ion batteries for hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), and for electric vehicles (EV). Ms. Yakoleva will demonstrate application technologies of SLMP including a solvent-free method.
If you care about energy storage, don't miss it.

SLMP® - More Energy, More Stability, More Value.
|
SLMP®: A revolutionary and proprietary stabilized lithium metal powder (SLMP®) from FMC Lithium, sold as Lectro® Max Powder, enables the battery industry to improve the cost, safety, and performance challenges of the Li-ion market and new applications such as HEV/PHEV/EV by controlling the lithium content and the use of non-lithiated cathodes.

FMC Lithium: A Significant IP Estate.
|
FMC Lithium has developed a significant cathode IP estate over the years, especially in the area of layered lithium metal oxides with dopants.
The patented composition allows a high rate capability (high power) at the beginning, and the ability to maintain a high rate / power capability after long cycles by suppressing the impedance build-up on the cathode surface. This composition is unique in the industry.
Relevant issued US patents: 6,277,521; 6,582,852; 6,794,085; 6,361,756; 6,589,499; 6,620,400; 7,074,382; and 6,878,490. Tianjin B& M Science and Technology Joint-Stock Co., Ltd supplies in China (exclusively), and on non-exclusive basis in Korea and Japan under license with FMC. Licensing opportunities are available outside of China. Please contact us for further information.
