Actors for medieval acton/adventure fantasy series (Toronto)
Date: 2012-03-25, 4:48PM EDT
Reply to: thjxh-2921899826@gigs.craigslist.org

We are in the pre-production stages of a project which takes place in
a dark, medieval world. Please keep in mind that there may be travel
required for filming which shall be covered by the production. The
roles we are currently looking to cast are:

"Cailan" - Cailan's character is inspired by many Irish legendary
figures. In appearance, he is blonde, handsome, with a strong build.
He is the main character, and he is capable of wielding both magic and
fighting with a sword togreat effect, he is also skilled at reading
nature and the movements of wildlife. Age: 18 -20s; athletic build.
"Cormac" - Cormac is an imposing figure, the strong silent-type. He is
both man and beast, possessing an ability similar to lycanthropy. He
is a also a great warrior, possessing fierce strength. He does not
trust easily, but in those he does place trust, he is loyal. Age: 20s
- Late 20s; muscular build.

"Merlin" - The great warlock, he is known by many names, such as
Emrys, Merddyn, among others. We would like to portray him in this
instance as a cryptic figure, never revealing entirely what is on his
mind, a wistful smile present on his lips at all times. We would like
to take a gothic approach with his appearance. Age: Late 20s- 30s;
slender/athletic build.
Please provide headshot and resumes. Further serious inquires and
questions are welcome.

Obviously I have your attention... we are looking for a 20-30
something, mom. You will be the lead female in a feature length movie.
There will be varied love scenes in the movie... from rape... in a
shower... passionately in bed... and others. This is NOT a porn film.
With that said,we want to capture everything but the sexitself. You
have to be that real and that comfortable with it.
If you can't walk into the audition, strip naked and sit on a naked
man's lap and do a love scene (again,a scene... it's not real/porn)...
please don't waste our time or you're scheduling an audition.
For an audition, reply with a full body picture of yourself. If you are
wearing more than underwear or a swimsuit it will be deleted,as it
will if we not see your face.

Attractive female radio co-host wanted (Boston)
Date: 2012-03-25, 11:50PM EDT
Reply to: tvjw6-2922511252@gigs.craigslist.org

I host a weekly hot talk comedy program on a local upstart radio
station. Our show is very edgy and can get cruel at a moment's notice.
Currently only hosted by myself and my co-host (another male), we are
looking to branch out to the female audience (and keep the interest of
male listeners) by adding an attractive female as 3rd mic. You don't
necessarily have to be the quickest wit in the room, as it is a third
mic position (which means you let us do most of the work and chime in
when you have something good), but you MUST be willing to take a joke,
and you MUST see humor in EVERYTHING, including touchy subjects.
We ideally want a woman who can at times, match our comedic style
(dark humor, harsh language) AND be physically attractive (through
video and photo promotion of the show) to satisfy our current male
listeners... but we also want to pique the interest of females, and
adding a woman to the show who can roll with the edgy subject matter
on our level could work wonders for all of us.
The highest rated shows on our station reach up to 20,000 listeners
LIVE, and up to 30,000 listeners in a taped, podcast format. The
station's highest demographic stands between 25-34 year olds and our
second highest, 18-24 year olds. Our program is predominantly heard in
Boston, but we also reach out nation wide and are heard in our second
largest market, New York City. We are looking to grow and we are
attempting to be the highest rated show on the station. It will take
work, but how can hosting a radio show with other funny people NOT be
fun?
Drop me an email with a photo and a short biography, which includes
your past experiences in being funny. You don't have to be a
professional comedienne, but we want a funny hot chick. The show
currently does not pay, but studio time cost will be covered for you,
and when we bring in sponsors, you will eventually be compensated.

MARK MULLEN WORKSHOPS - ORLANDO AREA

The busiest part of the commercial season is just around the corner and the regional episodic television series are all about to go back into production. There has never been a better time to dive into a workout with one of the many workshops being offered at Mullen Casting this winter!

INSIDER SECRETS WORKSHOP: AUDITIONS & CALLBACKS

Adults 17 and over are invited to join us on SAT., JAN. 21 - 10AM TO 4PM when Casting Directors Mark Mullen and Shannon Ready share over 10 years of expertise about the auditioning process by revealing what goes on after the callback. This is a rare opportunity to take a walk inside the minds of the directors, producers, ad agency execs and clients who set the trends and call the shots that ultimately result in whether you're booking jobs or just going to a lot of auditions.

Mark will share stories of audition mishaps, close calls, missed opportunities and that rare moment when the planets align and the elusive role is booked. Actors will be put on camera reading actual commercial copy, television sides, and feature film scripts. The performances will then be viewed and analyzed in front of the class.

Q & A Session (3 pm to 4 pm): By the end of the workshop you will hopefully possess answers to every question you've ever had about the business in Florida and beyond. Prepare for straight-from-the-hip answers to the questions others tend to skirt.

Each participant will receive a flash drive of their performances from the workshop! This is a great way to continue reviewing and refining your skills long after the workshop has concluded.

Lunch will be provided.

Our Price: $99 USD

HOST/TELEPROMPTER WORKSHOP

Join Mark and actor, host, director, producer, acting instructor, on-set coach Lauren O'Quinn on SAT., FEB. 4 - 10AM TO 4PM to find out why Central Florida has a reputation as one of the hottest markets from which to cast projects requiring hosts/spokespersons. In fact, Mark has cast for clients shooting projects from as far away as Seattle,Toronto, and even Sweden. Hosting projects include: Walmart, Selsun, American Express, Icy Hot, Kodak, Mitsubishi, Eyeglass World, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Panasonic, AT&T, Gold Bond, Allegra, and Chrysler.

Take advantage of this one-of-a-kind workshop focusing on all aspects of being a successful spokesperson/host. Participants will have the opportunity to work with a teleprompter, perfecting the necessary skills to land the job. Cold reading technique and working with script will also be covered, as well as tips on how to market yourself to producers and agents. Learn how to tell the story, find the drama and emotion in the words, and how to create your own unique voice.

Lauren O'Quinn majored in Theatre at the University of Georgia before moving to Orlando in 1997. She is an award winning actress, director, and producer with over 200 national, regional, and local commercials. She has appeared as an actor and/or spokesperson in commercials for such companies as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Microsoft, Nissan, Publix, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Bob Evans, Maxide, Subway Restaurants and numerous others. She has also worked as a casting director and account supervisor for an award winning advertising agency and spent years in the talent agency business. Come to this amazing workshop and you too can learn what she knows!

Unlike the big SAG national cattle calls, hosting auditions typically involves a select group of hand-picked experienced talent. Take this opportunity to open a new door in your acting career! Last year alone, over a dozen hosting jobs came through the audition studios at Mullen Casting. Make sure 2012 finds you at the top of your agent's list when the next hosting job comes to town.
