This is the first of five semesters in embracing the Meisner Approach. This semester lays the ground work for your artistic journey. We will work towards becoming fully aware and fully in response to everything that is happening as it's happening. By the end of this semester you will realize that acting isn't pretending to do something, it is simply "living truthfully under imaginary circumstances." It doesn't matter if you're experienced, just starting out, 18 or 81: if you are serious about expanding your artistic side, we would love to work with you.
Your investment: 3 1/2 hours a week at our studio for 12 weeks, 2 hours a week minimum on homework, and $395

Fireball Run:
Hi Nancy, The road rally project that Brian Bazala(the writer-dir of Opening Night of the Living Dead) is now working on is The Fireball Run Adventure Rally. The main website is www.fireballrun.com . The event starts next week in the space coast and will run all over the US Southeast. Chevy is a major sponser and the group is doing charity work for missing children. The producers of the tv project have offices on the Universal Orlando lot. The website has more details and a Facebook page if you want to pass it on to your friends or contacts.

The two best films from the Florida chapter of WIFT will be eligible for judging in the International 2012 Short Film Showcase.
Director: Must be a female WIFT Member
Crew: Two key positions must be WIFT members, male or female.
Theme: Films that on issues women respond to.

And when we say more, we mean it.
Besides bringing you 54 films from around the world and two full days of live music on three stages we are also putting together extraordinary educational panels with the opportunity to meet fine film makers, actors, animators, musicians and producers who are here to share their knowledge and show business savvy so you can get an inside look at entertainment. Whether you are in the business yourself or just want to know more about how it all works our educational panels are open to all badge holders.
This year we have Academy Award Winner Luke Matheny in attendance. Luke is the actor, writer and director of God Of Love which won the 2011 Oscar for Best Live-Action Short Film and will be awarded The Clearwater Film & Music Festival's own unique trophy, The Wavecrest Award for Triple Threat Film Making. He will also be with us for educational panels to convey his knowledge of navigating film school.
Dolphin Tale actor Jim Fitzpatrick will also be with us to talk shop about the acting business. With over 50 film roles to his credit including parts in All My Children and Star Trek: Enterprise, Jim will be sharing his insight on what it takes to make a career in acting.
Plus, we have live music on three separate stages on Clearwater Beach featuring local bands like Charlie Ries, Bet Me I'm Lying, Gypsy Star, The Special People's Club, Pal Joey" Olivo, and Not Broken Yet. Bands traveling in from across the country include GroovProject, Danielle Antonio, Chocolate4TheSoul, The Romeo Flynns, Cats In The Basement and Jae Apollo.
Our films come from around the world and include full length features, short subjects, animations and documentaries. Chances are you won't get to see content like this anywhere else. So Get Reeled In and buy your tickets today!
Single film ticket good for any scheduled block on Friday, Saturday or Sunday September 23, 24 or 25. Badges only for Opening Night Entry. Films are shown as Duval Center at Holiday Inn Clearwater Beach. Please arrive at the show you want to attend at least 30 minutes prior to showtime. Seating is first come first serve.
