It doesn't matter if you're experienced, just starting out, 18 or 81: if you are serious about expanding your artistic side, we would love to work with you.

CHILD: The child can be male or female and between the ages of 4 and 6 years old (if he/she looks younger it would be a plus) and would need to ACT as if terrified of the water. The child will be getting into the water with a qualified and licensed swim instructor (documentation can be provided) in a private residence (the mom and/or dad can be at pool side to observe) and will be filmed both above and below the water. The child does NOT have to know how to swim but must have a great attitude and be willing to learn some skills and must only ACT as if he/she is terrified of the water. The child will not have to memorize or read any lines but will need to be able to be energetic, have a great smile, and be able to carry on a conversation. MOTHER: The mother needs to be between the ages of 26 and 45 years old. The mother will NOT need to get into the water and will NOT need to get into a bathing suit. She will be used for seated and standing interview-style footage. There is no fixed script and only a few key sentences need to be memorized that need to be woven into a fictional background story about the parent and child. Melbourne, FL - 3 Boys Productions announced today the program of films selected to screen at the 2011 Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival(MIFF). This year, the festival's program comprises films from U.S. and international filmmakers selected from 238 entries. The 2011 MIFF runs September 9-10 in Melbourne, Florida at the beautiful Premiere Theaters Oaks Stadium 10.

Now in its 13th Year, the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival prides itself on the promotion of independent filmmakers to the Brevard County community and as a destination for filmmakers worldwide. Each year independent films are screened to enthusiastic audiences and all the funds raised go to charity.

In 1998, a creative group of friends(Terry Cronin, Jeff Hall, Bob Lizek,and Pat Martin) decided to form a production company to produce independent films in Melbourne, Florida. This group has evolved into publishing comic books and novels including the critically-acclaimed detective series "The Skinvestigator". They continue to host the annual Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival and the Megacon Indie Film Expo in Orlando.

Brevard County, Fla. - The Space Coast Chapter of the Florida Motion Picture and Television Association (FMPTA) presents two fabulous presenters, Geoff Bodine and Dan Springen speaking about the upcoming 2011 Chevrolet Fireball Run Adventurally. Their presentations takes place Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Brevard Government Center located at: 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in the Space Coast Room, building C, 2nd floor, Viera,FL 32940.
Bodine, a legendary NASCAR driver, possesses 565 starts, 37 poles, 18 wins, and nearly $16 million in winnings during his Winston Cup/Nextel Cup career. NASCAR honored him as one of "NASCAR's 50 Greatest Drivers" during NASCAR's 50th anniversary celebration. While driving in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on February 18, 2000, Bodine suffered a broken right wrist, right cheekbone, right ankle and a vertebrae in his back, along with a concussion when involved in a vicious, fiery accident. Bodine, along with fellow Fireball Run driver, Space Shuttle Astronaut Winston Scott, will be driving for the Space Coast in the 2011 Chevrolet Fireball Run.
Springen, Executive Director of the Orlando Film Festival, plans on discussing the Orlando Film Festival's involvement with the Fireball Run as well as a presentation, "Anatomy of a Film Festival," on the inner workings of the festival. He will be competing in the 2011 Chevrolet Fireball Run with his Cadillac CTS. While competing in the rally, the Orlando Film Festival team will be accepting entries from independent film producers in each destination along the rally route. One lucky film maker will be chosen for a red carpet world premier at the 2012 Orlando Film Festival.
The 2011 Chevrolet Fireball Run Adventurally commences on September 23rd on Florida's Space Coast and concludes October 1st in the Mississippi GulfCoast. Assigned a missing child from their home region, each team in the Fireball Run displays a decal on their vehicle as a rolling billboard. Additionally, posters of missing children are distributed along the route. The Race to Recover America's Missing Children is the largest active recovery effort for missing and exploited children in the country. To date, the effort has assisted in the recovery of 36 missing children.
Networking for the FMPTA meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with a membership meeting starting at 7 PM featuring the Bodine/Springen's presentations.
