Position
Summary:

This position is responsible for developing
and creating video content and digital programming for company owned
websites and other new media platforms, as well as media partners and
sponsors. Candidates for this position will be proficient in various
facets of production, including but not limited to producing,
editing, shooting, lighting, audio, streaming and video encoding.
This position must be adept working in both live event and
post-production environments.

• Shoots and edits video
  content for digital distribution, primarily UFC
  websites.
• Shoots video leading up to and during live events,
  including interviews, press conferences and behind the scenes
  footage.
• Shoots video for non-event purposes, as needed,
  including promotional, public relations and marketing initiatives,
  in-studio interviews, training b-roll, specialty projects,
  etc.
• Edits video footage into fully produced
  features.
• Works with digital production team to generate and
  develop new ideas for digital video programming.
• Re-purposes
  content for video-on-demand (VOD) and other media
  partners.
• Encodes and distributes digital versions of
  re-purposed broadcast programming, including Countdown shows,
  FOD's, commercial spots, and complete fights.
• Edits
  archive fights and other video materials into individual products as
  well as adds legal claims and marketing animations.
• Uploads
  files to their various distribution points.
• Researches and
  inputs applicable meta data into publishing
  tool.
• Responsible for the production and encoding of audio,
  video, and image content as related to mobile
  initiatives.

Minimum
Qualifications:

• College degree preferred, High
  School diploma or equivalent GED required.
• Minimum 2 years
  Avid or Final Cut Pro experience required. Knowledge of both
  preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience with Panasonic P2
  camera or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of professional
  lighting techniques for video shoots required.
• Demonstrated
  proficiency using Adobe Products (Photoshop, After
  Effects).
• Basic understanding and ability to manage a
  website CMS required.
• Knowledge of tapeless
  workflow.
• Knowledge of encoding and compression standards
  and techniques required.
• Ability to work independently and
  with a team.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced
  environment.
• Must be flexible and responsive to a rapidly
  changing business environment.
• Must display a strong ability
  to communicate skills.
• Ability to maintain discretion and
  confidential information required.
• Bilingual a
  plus.
