Riverkeeper is proud to be part of RiverWay South Apalachicola Choctawhatchee
RiverWay South Apalachicola Choctawhatchee Organization seeks promote economic development in our rural Northwest Florida counties by increasing cultural, historical and eco-tourism. Their goal is to bring more revenue to Calhoun, Franklin and Gadsden counties. With our incredible natural resources like Blue Springs Recreational Area, Florida Caverns and Tate's Hell State Park, RiverWay South AC has a wealth of opportunity to bring visitors to our area. The organization formed in 2010 to get the word out about what North West Florida has to offer beyond the beach.

 RiverTrek 2011
The annual Apalachicola Riverkeeper "paddle-a-thon", a five-day, 107 mile paddle to benefit the Riverkeeper. This year's paddle starts on October 12. Follow RiverTrek organizer Earl Morrough and fellow paddlers Andy Smith, Chris Matthews, Fred Borg, Dayle Flint, Patti Chastain, Cina Smith and Markham Smith on RiverTrek11 and sponsor our paddlers for 10, 50 or the whole 107 miles of the journey.
