Jeannie McMillan, one of the Apalachicola Bay and River Keepers' charter Board members and an inspiration for our mission and work, died last night. You may know her business on St George Island, Journeys of SGI . . . www.sgislandjourneys.com, which has been around for over 16 years.
She had been fighting cancer for years. Please keep her memory, family, and soul in your thoughts and prayers. She was an amazing, wonderful person.
We will put a memorial for her on our website in the near future and find out if she has given directions on how to honor her memory in lieu of flowers, etc.
