IntroGreetings!

The Tubeman is grateful for many things this Thanksgiving season.  We have two new tube mills coming soon, new Tube People, football games and tasty turkey! Of course, we are most grateful for our customers and suppliers - without you, we couldn't make the high quality products that we are known for. Thanks for your support and warmest wishes to your family this holiday season!

Just a friendly reminder: Our office will be closed on Thursday, 11/25 and Friday, 11/26 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Doyle
Leavitt Tube Company is pleased to introduce Patrick Doyle, a new addition within our sales organization, as our featured employee this month.

Patrick is a seasoned tubing veteran having almost twenty years of sales and purchasing experience.  He is a walking encyclopedia of tubing and pipe knowledge.  This is Patrick's second tour of duty at Leavitt Tube having previously worked in our sales department until 2001 when he joined a national service center.

He is married to Lorie and is a loving father of three beautiful daughters. Originally from the south suburbs of Chicago, The Doyle Family now reside in the beautiful city of Crown Point, IN.
An avid Chicago sports fan, he enjoys following Notre Dame, Cubs, Blackhawks, and Da' Bears!  His additional hobbies include golf, bowling, and cooking.

Patrick is a great guy and we are very excited to have him at Leavitt Tube.  Please call him directly at 773-881-2605 and say hello!
wWhat's Happening Now?
80 Mill Construction The questions should be, what isn't happening now! Over the last few months we've seen several changes to the Leavitt Tube Campus. After more than 40 years of service, we retired our 8-Mill which produced our Mechanical line of A513 products from 1x1-16 through 1.5x1.5-120. In the 1st Quarter of 2012, our new and improved W8 Mill will arrive. More details on that in future editions of The Leavitt Tube Pipeline.

Our most recent addition to the campus, W50 mill, will be replacing our W25 & W40 mills later this year. The W50 mill will be producing our structural tube line of A500 products from 1.5x1.5-188 up through 3.5x3.5-313 (with corresponding rectangles) and pipe size tube from 1.25sch10 through 4sch40. If you happen to be in the area, please stop by the campus to see our progress and talk with your friendly Tube Person for more details on either mill.

Equipment isn't the only thing that's new here at Leavitt Tube. Pat Knutson, a long time Tube Person, was promoted to our Director of Sales Position in September. Another long-time Tube Person, Joe Davy, was named our Director of Business Development. We've also brought on new Tube People to our team: Ryoji Nozu is our new Business Coordinator and Patrick Doyle our newest sales representative and our employee spotlight for this edition.
