Welcome to the first issue of the PMI Educational Foundation Liaison News (PMIEF Chapter Liaison News).  You are receiving this email because you have been identified by your PMI Chapter Leadership as the PMI Educational Foundation Chapter Liaison. Thank you for volunteering your time and talent to be the conduit between your chapter and PMIEF.
 
The purpose of this monthly newsletter is to provide you with information and resources to assist you in your role as PMIEF Liaison.  To continue receiving this newsletter, we need you to confirm you wish to receive this email - please click on "confirm" at the top of the page.
 
This first issue includes information about the October PMIEF Liaison Meeting in Washington, DC, USA, resources that are available, information on grants we have recently awarded and other news.

    PROGRAM NEWS - Recent PMIEF Grants:

     

    PMIEF provides grants to nonprofit organizations who submit proposals to develop programs and resources that align with the PMIEF mission and vision. Recent grants to nonprofit organizations were provided:

    ˇ         To develop programs to teach project managment to teachers & nonprofits

    ˇ         To develop programs to teach youth the life skill of project management

    ˇ         To develop programs to provide project management to unemployed workers

    Other News: 
     
    Translations -
    • Project Management Toolkit for Youth
      • Primary School Curriculum has been translated into English, Italian, Spanish and French and are available on the PMIEF website
      • PM for Youth Toolkit is being translated into Spanish, Polish and Arabic
     
    The Project Management Toolkit for Youth CD has been Updated-
    The CD includes curriculum for ages 6 - 18, Careers in Project Management, Project Management Skills for Life and PowerPoint Presentations that can help you create interest.  All of these materials are available on the PMIEF website. Please email pmief@pmi.org to request a CD.
