A new video news series has been launched on the LED Light Site. The LED Lighting News provides information on LED industry trends and highlights our most popular, state-of-the-art products, services and events. You can view the LED Lighting News series on the new home page.
OSRAM Opto Semiconductors plans to release twenty-four videos over the next year, each video featuring topics relevant to engineers and designers interested in learning more about LEDs and LED technology. The goal of the new video series is to provide viewers with another resource for learning about LED lighting in an interactive way. The videos offer general news for anyone interested in LED applications, from savvy LED lighting customers to those simply looking to explore information on LED lighting techniques and products.

LED Fundamentals Series of Educational Videos |

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors' LED Fundamentals series continues to expand. Three new educational videos have recently been added to the LED Light Site.
"Internal Thermal Resistance," "Colorimetry," and "Driving LEDs - Resistors and Linear Drivers" are the latest additions to the LED Fundamentals series.
"Internal Thermal Resistance" investigates the definition and significance of internal thermal resistance in LED packages, the path of heat transfer in some OSRAM LED packages and the calculation of the junction temperature in LEDs.
"Colorimetry" explores how the eye perceives color and discusses several metrics which describe color.
"Driving LEDs - Resistors and Linear Drivers" examines simple based current regulation for LED systems and the use of linear drivers to regulate current in an LED system.
