 The August meeting of the Penobscot County Democratic Committee will be held Saturday, August 21st from 9:30 to 10:30 at 15 State Street in Downtown Bangor. The Second Annual American Folk Festival Brunch
The Second Annual Folk Festival Brunch is being held on Saturday, August 28th from 9:30 am to Noon at the Brick Church (126 Union Street, Downtown Bangor)
Tickets are $25 and can be reserved through ActBlue or by calling Paul Davis - 570-4273. Some tickets will be available at the door.

"the Magic Jack Slayer"
The coordinated campaign decided to save some money by using Magic Jacks at their Bangor office for phone banking. It seemed like a great idea at the time, until Nick "The Magic Jack Slayer" Danby started to make calls. He made so many calls that it burned out 3 of the Magic Jacks. Nick, who is 12 years old, has become a legend at the Bangor Office. We are now using cell phones provided by the coordinated campaign for our phone banks.
