Ministry of Sound Seminar
 Good Sound Studio is thrilled to announce their very first Ministry of Sound Seminar held in conjunction with Creative Sound Solutions from Cape Coral, FL. This spectacular event will be hosted by Word of Life Ministries in Greensburg on Saturday May 12, 2012. Registration if FREE to anyone who wants to attend. Seriously, it won't cost you anything! Except maybe a few bucks for lunch.
This fall, Good Sound Studio was approached with the idea of providing a seminar to local churches to help with the fundamentals of sound engineering for church staff and volunteers. To make a very long story shorter, we were put in touch with Creative Sound Solutions in Florida. They decided to lend their brand MOTX to help us start a seminar here in PA. The result is going to be a fantastic opportunity for area folks to learn sound and the latest technology from representatives of some of the leading manufacturers in the audio industry.
There will be classes offered on many different areas of sound and sound technology. Originally the MOTX seminar was designed for church staff but has now grown to include school staff who may need to improve their audio reproduction skills or upgrade their current sound system. It will be an opportunity that you won't want to miss.

Good Sound Studio Moves
Good Sound Studio has recently moved to a new location in New Stanton. We are now located in the Pharmacy strip mall across from the Post Office. This new location will allow us to better serve our customers and provide a more convenient way of handling all the equipment from the rental inventory as well as new equipment for sound system installations. Here is a picture of us starting to move in with all of our equipment. We got bored so we decided to set up a system to provide some music while we worked. I'll not mention some of the dance moves that were witnessed!
 In addition to the new location, GSS recently had a vehicle wrapped by CG Wraps in Mt. Pleasant. Here is the car outside a job in The Robinson Town Center. We want to let everyone know that Good Sound Studio is out there and available to help you with what ever your audio needs may be. Keep an eye out for the car and give us a little honk when you see us to say Hi.
We are very excited about the improvements that are taking place with the company and look forward to being able to serve you better and with a little more style! Just For Fun (Stories for your amusement)A co-worker was telling us about her sister who was coming to visit her for the holidays. Someone asked how old her sister was, at which she paused, thought for a bit, and then answered, ``She's half as old as I am, that's how I always remember.'' So someone else (okay, it was me) said, ``That's neat... So every year that you age, she only ages half a year?'' My co-worker thought about that, and then said, ``Oh, yeah, I guess it only works on even years.''

I recently saw a distraught young lady weeping beside her car. ``Do you need some help?'' I asked.
She replied, ``I knew I should have replaced the battery in this remote door unlocker. Now I can't get into my car. Do you think they (pointing to a distant convenience store) would have a battery for this?''
``Hmmm, I dunno. Do you have an alarm, too?'' I asked. `
`No, just this remote `thingy,' '' she answered, handing it and the car keys to me.
As I took the key and manually unlocked the door, I replied, ``Why don't you drive over there and check about the batteries... it's a long walk."
