Standards:
Making the CTE connection

The recent adoption of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) is one of the best things to happen to CTE, a central component of the standards. CTE programs have been packed with academics. With more attention being paid to Project Based Learning, CTE teachers assist core academic teachers in aligning CCSS to projects, and CTE teachers need to align CCSS to CTE curriculum. This draws together the teachers to work side-by-side on a regular basis. Full article.
