Pathways to ProsperityThe Pathways to Prosperity report is a must read!  Published in February, it explains the need to develop meaningful career training as part of comprehensive school reform. The study points out that career training has been ignored for far too long, but is essential to address the "career-ready" piece of the puzzle. It stated that the U.S. school system needs to improve career counseling and broaden pathways for young people in our schools, which means CTE is a viable robust pathway.  See page 27 of the report for a list of  models of 21st century Career and Technical Education that work.
