Before/After School Childcare Available - Register Now!

Dear Parents:

The Manchester Township School District offers a Child Care Program for all elementary school children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.  Our Child Care Program, now in its tenth year, is run by Monmouth-Ocean Educational Services Commission.  MOESC provides safe and affordable care for children both before and after school hours.

Each school program is run based on the number of students that are actually registered.  Every year at this time I mail this letter to notify parents that we can provide programs both before and after school.  Again the availability of each school program is based on the MOESC requirement of a minimum number of ten students registered for each day.

I also need to emphasize the school times for the 2010-2011 school year so that you can make your plans.  As you probably already know, the Ridgeway School and the Manchester Township Elementary School have changed their school day times.  The 2010-2011 elementary school day hours will be:

Ridgeway             8:20 a.m.              3:00 p.m.
MTES                   8:50 a.m.              3:30 p.m.
Whiting                8:50 a.m.              3:30 p.m. (this is the same as last year)

Please be reminded that your actual child care registration is completed directly with MOESC, not with your child's school.  If you have other questions the MOESC Child Care office can be reached at 732-389-3192, ext. 1090 throughout the summer months or via their website at www.moesc.org

I hope that you are enjoying your summer vacation.  Also, I look forward to seeing you and your child upon your return in September.

Sincerely yours,

Kevin Burger
Director of Student and Administrative Services
