Greetings!

You are probably aware that on Tuesday, September 29, our school district will present a School Bond Referendum to voters in order to finance critically needed repairs and renovations to our school buildings and grounds.  These are items which cannot be addressed in our regular budget without seriously impacting the education of our children.

We are asking for the support of the community to address these critical areas to ensure that we can provide a safe and positive learning environment for all of our students.  Please vote on September 29. More details are available below.

Another item that is in the news is the H1N1 Influenza virus.  Please be assured that we are monitoring this situation closely and working with the county health department and other agencies to get the most up to date information.

Sincerely,

David Trethaway
Superintendent of Schools
