Reading, Yoga, Knitting, Art, Meditation and...
|
|---|
As 2012 is well under way, so are many new programs for you to enjoy at Out Boulder. We encourage you to check out our community member led groups and make new friends you already have something in common with and perhaps learn something new.
You're not into knitting or yoga or reading you say, well...if there isn't a group for you, yet, getting one is as simple as saying YES! to being a founding member.
We at Out Boulder are here to support you in creating groups that promote connection through shared interests. If you have any ideas for groups that you'd like to create, please click here to email us.

On Sundays, starting on March 25, a Queer Meditation Group will be offered at the Pridehouse at noon. This is a meditation group for the LGBTQ community, from beginner meditator to advanced. There will be a brief period of zazen meditation instruction followed by 20 minutes of sitting, zazen meditation then 5-10 minute discussion followed by another 20 minutes of sitting, zazen meditation. After the formal part of the group, the leader Andy Roffman, invites everyone for tea/coffee at Ozo coffee shop on Pearl Street. Andy started this group for two reasons--1) to strengthen my own meditation practice and 2) to build community. Participation in the group is free and donations are graciously accepted by Out Boulder.
