Abused, abandoned and chained to a fence at a gas station, a dog named Shelby was the least likely of her breed to ever want to trust any human being.

But, Shelby's story will have you cheering!!

A remarkable animal trainer, Joe Dwyer and his Pit-bull, Shelby share an incredible journey into love and they now have a mission that goes straight to the heart of compassion and humane treatment.

Joe and Shelby, now a Certified Therapy Dog, are on an ANTI-BULLYING CAMPAIGN that they bring to schools across the New England area. They also visit nursing homes and they appear on television promoting their mission.

Ocean Publishing and Cinematique of Daytona

Partner to Spotlight Sea Turtles

FLAGLER BEACH, FLA - Ocean Publishing and Cinematique of Daytona announce Ocean Fusion, a blending of art, film and education. On August 26^th at 7:00 PM, Cinematique will premiere its newest movie, Turtle: The Incredible Journey, the epic adventure of a loggerhead turtle from its birth on a Florida beach, across the North Atlantic and back to Florida years later as a pregnant adult.

Frank Gromling, author and publisher, will present Florida's Sea Turtles with colorful slides and video. The movie and talk will be followed by an art reception featuring marine life paintings by Ocean Publishing's commissioned artists Rick Cannizzaro and Marie DeCosta.

Ocean Fusion will be presented for three days, as follows:

August 26: 7:00 pm; August 27: 1:30 pm;  

August 28: 7:00 pm

Tickets to Ocean Fusion are $15 for the movie, talk and reception, with a portion of all sales donated to support the non-profit Volusia/Flagler Turtle Patrol. Advance reservations are recommended for the 72-seat Cinematique Theater (http://www.cinematique.org/) and may be made by calling the box office at (386) 252-3118.

The art work will remain on display in the lobby during the full run of the movie through
