CELEBRITY GUEST COLUMNIST
At Easter time, so many folks love to present a family member with a cute, cuddly baby bunny! And then reality sets in. We once again welcome our dear friend, Phyllis O'Beollain, who is our rabbit caregiver and expert to share with you why this practice is wrong in so many ways.
Buying a Bunny for Easter? Think Again!
~by Phyllis O'Beollain

Rabbits are typically associated with the Easter holiday. This is the time of year to find cute bunnies on television commercials and candy packaging, and stores are filled with chocolate rabbits and stuffed toy bunnies. Children beg their parents for a real bunny, and without doing any research on the needs of these creatures, a rabbit is brought home from the pet store.

STARGAZING
Is it O'Ryan or Orion?
Just a little Irish humor.
The most visible constellation throughout ALL the world is the constellation of ORION the Hunter. Orion can be easily seen in the night sky from November to February of each year - late fall to winter in the Northern Hemisphere, late spring to summer in the Southern Hemisphere. In the period May-July (summer in the Northern Hemisphere, winter in the Southern Hemisphere) Orion is in the daytime sky and thus not visible at most latitudes.
Three of its brightest stars are located in what is called the Belt of Orion. These three stars are referred to as the Three Marys...referring to the three Marys who were companions to Mary, the Mother of Jesus: Mary of Cleopas, Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of James.
