Memorial Day E-Alert from catholic Stewards of Creation
Catholic Stewards of
Creation honors all of our American Military Veterans for their
sacrifice to country and countrymen as stewards of our freedom and
protection. We especially honor those who have made the ultimate
sacrifice in stewardship as they offered their lives for their fellow
man! May God bring their souls to eternal peace!
A Journey Home
This Memorial Day week, our own Father
Ron was present to receive the body of a Fallen Marine Hero, Lance Corporal Philip Clark of
Gainesville, Florida, at Jacksonville's Naval Air Station. The video shows Father Ron in his
dress white, saluting the casket and attending the family as Lance
Corporal Clark is taken from the transport plane. In Father's own
words: " I blessed the casket with holy water as I sang
the 3rd verse of the national anthem. When the 19 year old widow,
Ashton, came up with Philip's family, she put her face on the casket
with tears that mixed with the holy water."
A wonderful new video offers an insight
to never before seen photographs of our U.S. Troops with their patriot
pets. You will see why these animals mean so much to our soldiers!

is the VETERAN who salutes the Flag,
It
is the VETERAN who serves under the Flag, forever
ETERNAL
REST GRANT THEM O LORD, AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE
UPON THEM.
