The Good News: HE HAS RISEN!

He is the image of the invisible
God, the first-born of every creature. For in him were created all
things in the heavens and on the earth, things visible and things
invisible, whether Thrones, or Dominations, of Principalities, or
Powers. All things have been created through and unto him, and he is
before all creatures, and in him all things hold together. Again, he is
the head of his body, the Church; he, who is the beginning, the
firstborn from the dead, that in all things he may have the first place.
For it has pleased God the Father that in him all his fullness should
dwell, and that through him he should reconcile to himself all things,
whether on the earth or in the heavens, making peace through the blood
of his cross.
~ Colossians 1:15-20

The Solar Eclipse and the Death of Jesus

There could be no more profound religious
moment, than to have been witness to than the three hours of darkness
that fell upon Golgotha and the Middle East at the time of Jesus' death.
As awesome as "the star" that existed for two years to guide the Wise
Men to the home of the Christ Child... is the Solar Eclipse that defies
scientific explanation. Let's take a serious look at why this eclipse is
believed by the faithful and rejected by science.

| FROM THE HOLY FATHER THIS WEEK

| QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"On the third day the friends of Christ
coming at daybreak to the place found the grave empty and the stone
rolled away...What they were looking at was the first day of a new
creation, with a new heaven and a new earth; and in a semblance of the
gardener God walked again in the garden, in the cool not of the evening
but of the dawn. "
~G.K. Chesterton (The Everlasting
Man)

The name Jesus is derived from both the Aramaic and Hebrew languages. In
Aramaic, Jesus is "Yeshua"; in Hebrew, Jesus is "Joshua." The three
words - Jesus, Ueshua, and Joshua--mean savior.

| BUD'S BARKS!
The family grandsons hunted Easter eggs on Sunday and I must say it was
"egg-stra special," especially watching them "egg-celerate" as they ran
to grab the prize egg! Running after them left me "egg-zosted!"
