Greetings!
Our national wildlife is an enduring and precious gift when
viewed through eyes that acknowledge the connectivity of all creation as a
family. There is none so devoted as Melanie Cain-Stage, a woman who has
committed the last twenty years of her life to the rescue, rehabilitation and
release of so many wilderness brethren. Not only is she licensed to rehabilitate
injured and orphaned wild birds, mammals, and reptiles including endangered
species, but she also has been given special permits to possess permanent
wildlife (which cannot be released back into the wild) for educational
programs.
From an early age, she was gifted with the ability to care
for birds. That then led to a lifetime involvement with the care and management
of wild animals.
Melanie's story is one that says "anything is possible" with
love! One person can and does make a difference!
We are honored to have Melanie Cain-Stage as our Celebrity
Guest Columnist of the Week!

BUD'S BARKS!
|

Why are there cats? I live in a home where cats abound, and
one in particular which feels it is his job in life to lie in ambush for me. I
despise that cat! He becomes the bain of my existence on any given day.
However, I am finding the less I allow him to afflict me, the less he tries.
Isn't that true about most bothersome things in life?

Departed.
May all those in our families
who have left this life, find eternal rest before the Beatific Vision.
