We have a remarkable woman with a no less remarkable organization this week! Karen Windsor is the Executive Director of The New England Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary home of Foster Parrots Ltd. The Sanctuary is located on 15 acres in Hopkinton, Rhode Island, where permanent sanctuary care is given to 475 unadoptable and retiring parrots as well as some other select wild exotics and extending rescue services. 

At The Take Action For Animals conference in Washington D.C., where I met Karen and her group, I was educated in an area of creation stewardship that I had very little experience, learning that parrots and their kind were the THIRD largest group as the pet of preference in America.
