This Week's Celebrity Guest: John Adornato, III
I met John Adornato, the regional director of the National Parks Conservation
Association - Sun Coast Regional Office, earlier this year in Fernandina Beach.
He  was presenting a sneak peek of the new Ken Burn's film, National Parks: America's Best Idea, set to premiere later this
week, September 27th, at 9 PM on PBS. He is extremely knowledgeable about the
state of the Southeast parks and a source of strong leadership for an important ecological
area of this country. John has a
master's degree in wetland plant ecology from the University
of Maryland and a bachelor's degree in
biology with a minor in Russian language from Tufts University.
