A Big Thank You to NEMWI Summer 2011 Interns

NEMWI bid farewell to its summer 2011 interns last week.  Kevin Shutta will return to Virginia Tech to complete his senior year.  He worked on a variety of projects while at the Institute, the largest of which involved gathering and updating national, state, and local demographic and economic data.  Yuliya Rashchupkina will return to the University of Nebraska at Omaha to complete her master's degree in Public Administration.  The majority of Yuliya's time was spent working on a project about demographic changes in the region and their impacts on transportation policy and planning.  We very much appreciate their hard work over the last three months and we wish them luck in all their endeavors!
