Monthly Car Cruise-In at Cape Harbour
Cape Harbour will soon be the place to go if you own a classic car, hot rod, unique sports car, truck or motorcycle and want to show it off, or if you just want to admire these lovingly restored great classics.
A monthly car "Cruise-In" is being organized for the first Thursday of every month beginning May 5th from 4 pm until 8 pm.
This nostalgic trek down memory lane is sure to please the whole family. Every car has a story and owners of these classic beauties are more than willing to share their experiences and show off their cool rides. At Cape Harbour's recent Water and Wheels event, spectators were treated to a display of over 100 classic cars. Many of those will return for the monthly "Cruise-in."
Joe Circelli is helping put the show together. A classic car show exhibitor, Circelli shows both his 1993 and 1976 Corvettes and has a deep appreciation for the classic design, craftsmanship and integrity of some of Detroit's finest automobiles. He and his friends, whom he said have 26 classic vehicles and 32 street rods between them, can think of no better location than Cape Harbour to begin a tradition of showcasing some of the finest machines to ever come off the assembly line.
"It's a night to come out and relax in the perfect location because everything's there," said Circelli. Cars will be displayed along the front of Cape Harbour's Boathouse and in area around the parking lot across from Rumrunners restaurant. Car show attendees can also walk Cape Harbour's Promenade and peruse the shops and boutiques or stop in at one of the restaurants, bars, and deli or for a coffee, pastries or ice cream treat.
