HALLOWEEN WEEKEND AT CAPE HARBOUR
Halloween at Cape Harbour will be a triple weekend treat this year for all who dare venture into the spooky, spirited world of the supernatural and scary beings. The steaming, bubbly caldron of events begins with our famous "Monster Bash '10",
sponsored by The Joint, and featuring three nights of activities.
Starting Friday, October 29th, kids are invited to show off their costumes and "trick or treat" down the Promenade beginning at 5pm. Then for adults, The Joint is featuring "Fright Night" featuring live music from 6 pm until 10 pmand the acoustical sounds of Diane Russell and Scott Chesser. Wear a ghoulishly chilling costume and judges will scour the crowd to present prizes for the creepiest costume during the "Scariest Costume Contest''.
On Saturday, October 30th, Doggie.Style Boutique is sponsoring a pet costume contest starting at 5 pm. After that, adults are invited to get devilishly daring when The Joint invites the crowd to "Sex and Sinners Saturday Night". Rock and roll is the music of the night by the band "Seven Sins" that will play from 6 pm until 10 pm. Judges will be checking the crowd and handing out prizes for the "Sexiest Costume".
On Halloween, Sunday, October 31st, get an early start when kids in full costume, accompanied by parents, eat for free at Café Pignoli's Halloween Brunch from 10 am until 2 pm. Enjoy live music while you indulge your taste buds from a menu that features everything from pastries to omelets and a carving station.
Stay for more fun when Café Pignoli's chef/pastry chef Janet Rinehart invites kids up to 12 years old to create their "Halloween Cookie Masterpiece". The event takes place from 3:30 pm until 5 pm. Chef Janet will cook your cookie and you can carry it home, if it makes it that far!
Kids can stay for trick or treating along the Promenade starting at 5 pm. Merchants will be handing out special Halloween treats.
To close out the holiday in grand fashion, The Joint is sponsoring an "80's Attack Halloween Party" starting at 6 pm and featuring live music from "The Greekskwad". Celebrants are invited to dress up as their favorite character from the 1980's either from a movie, television show or dress up as a famous political figure.
