MERCHANTS THRIVE AT CAPE HARBOUR

 

Besides being one of the hottest dining spots in Cape Coral, Cape Harbour's popular Promenade beckons shoppers with a unique mix of  boutiques, art galleries, salons, jewelry, clothing and beach wear shops as well as yacht sales and a spot where you can take a boat tour.

  

It's a new you at High Maintenance Salon and Spa.  Melissa Garris is the owner, Redken master specialist & professional stylist.  The salon offers skin therapy, facials, hair & nail care, massage therapy and they have a make-up artist on staff.  Salon hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am until 8 pm, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am until 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am until 3 pm.  The salon is closed Sunday and Monday.

 

Cherie Clark of Cherie Clark Interiors is busy in her new shop on the Promenade. Cherie has more than doubled her previous square footage.  There is a full service design team on site, making sure their client's needs are met while keeping in mind the array of details it takes to create a spectacular interior from the ground up.  The shop is open Monday through Friday from 9 am until 5 pm and by appointment on evenings and weekends.

 

The Bikini Company is a great place to shop for bathing suits, including one-piece, bikinis, and tankini's.  The shop also carries an array of swim wear cover-up's sure to please the most discriminating bather and sun-worshiper.  Debbie Watts the owner is thrilled to welcome new guests.

 

Divine Diva's Boutique just might be the spot to get that very special outfit for that very special event.  The shop, said co-owner Linda Hoffman, specializes in very unique and very elegant women's attire. Linda said a new spring collection with a French label is in and well worth a stop at the shop.  The shop prides itself on personalized service and getting to know their customers' tastes and needs.  Men are always welcome to shop for that something special for their "somebody special."

 

The Banana Bay Tour Company offerings sunset cruises, eco-tours, lunch cruises and trips to Fort Myers Beach.   Co-owner with his dad, Fred, JR Trepper said the sunset cruises are very popular, as are the trips to Fort Myers Beach where you can spend the day before being picked up for your return trip.   The cruise departs daily from the dock in front of Rumrunners, and accommodates up to 49 passengers.   The catamaran-style 52-foot tour boat, called the "Coconut Woman" is also available for private charters and group events.  JR said the lunch cruises to Picnic Island are popular as is the Dolphin Nature Search cruise happening every Friday and Sunday at 11 am.  It's best to call for reservations.

 

You should stop by next door at Doggie. Style where you can buy your favorite pooch the shop's newest inventory of dog treats. They're called "coconut crunches," and are featured just in time for summer fun snacks.  Owner Sean Lucas invites shoppers in daily from 11 am until 8 pm to browse Cape Harbour's trendiest doggie boutique.

 

Paradigm Yacht Sales is also now located in the Promenade.  Paradigm employs all Florida licensed brokers and specializes in bringing qualified buyers and sellers together, locally or nationally.  Paradigm's owner Pat Rousch said they are proud members of the Cape Harbour community.  They pride themselves in making the entire buying or selling experience positive, effortless and memorable.  Shop hours are seven days a week.                      

 

Jack Anderson, who co-owns Dolphin International Yacht Sales with Ed Gore, announces that they have two new brokers joining them in business.  Here in Cape Harbour, they welcome Ralph Bush.  Working for the company out of Naples will be Tom Myers.  Jack also announced that the company scored record sales this month, in March, by selling seven boats!  If you're looking to purchase or sell your boat, Dolphin will help make it a pleasure with professionalism and excellence in service.

 

Visitors may want to browse the many fine pieces of new silver jewelry that Island Jewelers owner Cheryl Schaaf said has just been showcased at the shop.  Owners just returned from two gem shows, one in Tucson, Arizona and the other in Bangkok, Thailand and brought with them many interesting pieces.  Also new, said Cheryl, are the shop's new "hugger" earrings, "the type that make you look like you have multiple piercings, a very popular earring right now in California."

 

Tropics & Paradise co-owner Suzi Kohn said a new line of spring casual clothing has come in, including dresses, pants, tops, and "beachy" attire.  And, if you looking to remember your visit or show your pride as a resident, the shop has lots of logo shirts, sweatshirts, picture frames, coffee mugs, and shot glasses.  Beside an array of clothing to choose from, the shop also carries flip flops.  Hours at the store are from 11 am to 8 pm every day.
