With Christmas right upon us and New Years Eve just around the corner, it seems there are few times in the year that every Portlander has so much in common: we've got friends to think of, our future plans to lay out, and our past year to reflect on. With our common links comes a sense of community that we're very happy for.

Whatever you end up doing this season, we want you to know that we are setting a place for you at the Radio Room in the hopes that you'll stop in and say "hello!" and enjoy some time with us. We've got some great things on our plate... from delicious Christmas Menu items, new additions to our Regular Menu to a rousing night of Soul, Funk and R&B for New Years with local legend Ural Thomas.

We'll keep our fires burning and we hope to see you soon!
 
Open Xmas / Full Brunch

We will be open at 9am Dec. 25th for Christmas Brunch and Dinner.  Brunch will be served from 9am to 3pm, Dinner will be served from 4pm to 9pm. We will be serving a special Christmas Menu and be open all day until 2am. Our Happy Hour Menu will be served from 9pm to 2am. Nothing says "I've got it all" like having it all. 

Please call 503.287.2346 to make reservations for all size parties on Christmas day. 

 

FREE Soul & Funk New Year w/ Ural Thomas
 

FREE New Years Eve event, with live music by Soul and R&B legend Ural Thomas and his band.

 

Saturday, December 31st from 9pm to 2am 

 

Ural was a vital part of Seattle's funk and soul scene in the late 60's and early 70's. He opened for Otis Redding, James Brown and Stevie Wonder and played in the studio with the Quincy Jones Band and the Supremes. Thomas has lived in the same North Portland house for more than 30 years and has hosted a weekly jam session every Sunday in the practice space he built himself in the back alley behind his house.

Meet their teachers and administrators, make some art and participate in what could be Portland's largest group animation project. Bring your friends and lets see just how big this thing can get. Art(s)cool PDX want to share their program and mission with you so they can generate more arts & sciences education for our community.

New Artist At Radio Room

J. Frey graduated Portland State University in 1998 and has been showing in cafes, pubs, and small galleries ever since. Frey's work is inspired by many sources including intuitive dreams, bird fights, stormy nights, extraordinary delusions and the popular madness of crowds. See more work online here.
