Featured Product: Lite-Deck ICF

Lite-Deck ICF offers a solid concrete floor and decking application that may be used in construction processes as an alternative to traditional decking.  The system is composed of lightweight, stay-in-place forms made of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS).  This decking system may be constructed on-site or as precast floors, roofs, decks and/or walls for many uses.  Structural strength is achieved through reinforced concrete and the EPS insulation. 
 
Lite-Deck ICF has the following advantages:

     ·   Forms produce nominal values of R-30 and more

     ·   Engineered clear spans of 50 feet and more

     ·   Insulation reduces noise levels to a whisper (STC 45-STC 55)

   ·  Designed to resist severe weather conditions
 

The Lite-Deck ICF forms come in a variety of sizes and may be ordered in custom lengths up to 53 feet.  The standard widths are 2' and 4', with thicknesses of 6", 8", 10" and 12". Top hats are also available in 2", 4" and 6" thicknesses, these are to be used in combination with the full-size forms.

Customer Project Spotlight 
This month's feature project is the Rose residence, currently being constructed south east of Abilene, KS along Key Road.  The house consists of an ICF basement and main floor.  The main floor is 1,300 sf with a master bedroom, living area, large laundry room and 1.5 baths.  The basement includes 2 bedrooms, a family room, a multi-purpose craft room and a mechanical room.  Also, accessible in the basement is a storm room located underneath the front porch.  The finished area of the basement is approximately 1150 sf.  The house is being constructed with 6" ICF block by Logix on both levels.
