 Insul-Tarp is a patented underslab insulation that may be used for many different applications. Its 'Space Age' design integrates closed cell foam and an aluminum reflective material with a protective poly coating all within three lightweight thin layers. The poly coating is durable and protects the insulating material from damaging surfaces and is impermeable to moisture. Nick Hein is one of our customers building with ICFs. He and his family are constructing a single story home with a basement near Hillsboro, KS. The home includes six bedrooms, three baths and a storm room in the basement. The basement was constructed with 8" block and the main floor is being constructed with 4" block, all utilizing the Logix ICF system.
