Greetings!
Does your business or organization have any job openings? Did you know you can post it for FREE on our website at www.PanamaCity.org? WMBB News 13 is featuring some of our postings on their morning show, News 13 This Morning. If you need help with this free service, contact Brittany at 215.3755 or Brittany@baychamberfl.com.
Hurricane Isaac caused flooding and storm damage to Gulf Coast states such as Louisiana and Mississippi. Bay County was spared from major damage, but how prepared is your business if a major hurricane hits? Could your business serve customers tomorrow if a hurricane made landfall today? Do you have a disaster plan/continuity of operations plan for your business? Do you and your essential employees have a re-entry pass to get to your business after a storm?
The Bay County Chamber of Commerce commends our Bay County Emergency Management office for keeping us all safe and giving us warning of Isaac and its potential danger. Although it was pretty much a non-event, lets consider it a trial run because the tides could have easily turned and we would be in the shoes of Louisiana.
Don't wait until it's too late. Now is the time to take care of all of the above. Please visit the Bay County Emergency Management website TODAY and be prepared so that our community can recover quickly after a storm and send the message to the world that Bay County, FL is "Open for Business".
The Chamber has many events, news to share and opportunities in this eBIZ newsletter:
- Governmental Affairs Survey
- First Friday
- Business After Hours
- Bay Young Professionals Luncheon
- First Responders Appreciation
- Non-Profit Sustainability Summit
- Ambassador Team of the Quarter
- Business Referral Network Group Meetings
- Military Affairs
- Creating opportunities to market your business and attain great resources on our website - www.panamacity.org
Much Success,
The Bay County Chamber of Commerce Staff

Ambassador Team of the Quarter
The "Ambassador Team for the 2nd Quarter" was Ambassador Team B. The Award is given to the team that has the best participation through attendance at grand openings, Ambassador meetings, First Friday and Business After Hours. The reason that their attendance is so important is because the Ambassadors are the first face of the Chamber to our new members. At the end of the year we will have a steak dinner for the winning group and the losers will eat beans.
Pictured back row from left to right- Vickie Large, Jason Pence, Chris O'Baugh and Jay Parrish.
