Bay County Chamber of CommerceJanuary 19, 2012
eBIZ newsletter
Greetings!

The New Year is off to an awesome start! We have hit the ground running and aggressively addressing our annual business plan.

To start, we hope that you and your team plan to join us for the Annual Dinner scheduled for January 27th as Chairman Bo Rivard officially passes the gavel to our 2012 Chairman Al McCambry.

Our committees are off to a great start and our Governmental Affairs Committee activities are well underway with this year's legislative session opening on the 10th. We continue to follow many bills that affect you, our members and our community at large. We have already travelled to Tallahassee on three different occasions to address those issues. In addition, staff has met with Chief of Staff for Congressman Southerland to share our 2012 Legislative Agenda and to start planning for the annual D.C. trip.

The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) has a few upcoming events with visiting dignitaries so we encourage MAC members to watch their email for those invitations. If you are not a member of this committee we encourage you to get involved and show your support for the economic impact that our military has on Bay County.

Sincerely,
The Bay County Chamber of Commerce Staff
