Value Maximization
The warm days of summer are not tempting the Value Maximization Team from gaining momentum as they are brainstorming collaborative initiatives for process improvement across Partner Organizations. The team has expanded its dashboard review to now reflecting data performance from four to 10 clinical dashboards! Improvement opportunities will be prioritized for individual and collaborative workshops. The Fall of 2009 brings Value leading with the Healthcare Performance Improvement Course held at Calvin College, Prince Conference Center in Grand Rapids. This innovative course provides a practical approach for clinical and non-clinical teams to implement an improvement initiative. The curriculum of this course was modeled after the Intermountain Healthcare Institute for Delivery Research, Miniadvanced Training Program developed by Brent James MD. Miniadvanced Training Program The Value of this training opportunity is $4,500 tuition per participant and is open to Value Health Partners members at no cost. The Value Maximization Team will be taking advantage of this great opportunity. Some members of the Value Maximization Team recently listened to a cutting edge WIHI presentation hosted by The Institute of Healthcare Improvement: Raising Joy in the Healthcare Workforce. There were several informative resources mentioned during the recording of the program and here is one that Value Maximization Team Members may want to share with their staff Regarding Relationships and Results Oriented Healthcare Outcomes: Relationships & Results Oriented Healthcare Outcomes
