Developed by Dr. Neil Anderson at the University of Minnesota, Mammoth Mums were bred for hardiness and size.  These plants form a large, mounded form in the landscape.  Their size makes them an easy replacement in foundation plantings for Potentilla and Spirea.  They can also be blended into the perennial garden.  Hardy to Zone 4, these mums will begin to bloom in August, and continue to bloom until frost.
